Hilarious 1982 Blade Runner Executive Notes – They Hated It

Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi film Blade Runner has become a cult classic since it was first released in 1982, but when it first opened a lot of people weren’t sure what to think of it. It didn’t get the best reviews either. The movie was just ahead of its time. [SOURCE]

Before the movie even officially opened the executives who funded the film, Jerry Perenchio, Bud Yorkin, and Robin French of Tandem Productions gave some notes on the movie revealing that they didn’t really care for it. They called it dreadfully dull and confusing, among several other complaints. Many of these are actually pretty funny considering the movie is now such a classic. Check out the full list of Blade Runner insults below. One of my favorites is, “This picture gets duller every time we see it.”

Happy Easter! Hope it is egg-citing for you!

Zodiac Sign Changed – What it really Means

By Kelli Cook, Reporter
Central Florida News 13
Were you actually born under a different sign than you thought?

All across Facebook, Twitter and the rest of the Internet, there’s been a buzz about a change in the stars.

But what does it all mean?

It all started the Minneapolis Star Tribute published an article, stating that our horoscopes are wrong.

According to the article, if you thought you were a Scorpio, you’re really a Libra. Or if you got a tattoo of a fish because you thought you were a Pisces, you’re actually an Aquarius.

The reason for the change? The article said it’s because the signs of the zodiac were created 2,000 years ago, and since then, the stars have shifted.

So is the astrologer correct? Yes.

But does it mean that your zodiac sign is wrong? Depends on what you believe.

Many people don’t know it, but there are actually two zodiacs.

The changes mentioned above apply to the Sidereal zodiac, which is based on constellations.

The Sidereal zodiac is followed traditionally in the Eastern Hemisphere. If that’s the one you follow, then yes, your sign has changed.

Then there is the Tropical Zodiac, which is based on seasons. Most of us in the Western Hemisphere follow this zodiac, which means no, your sign has not changed.

Here’s what your new sign would be under the Eastern, Sidereal zodiac:

  • Capricorn: January 20 – February 16
  • Aquarius: February 16 – March 11
  • Pisces: March 11 – April 18
  • Aries: April 18 – May 13
  • Taurus: May 13 – June 21
  • Gemini: June 21 – July 20
  • Cancer: July 20 – August 10
  • Leo: August 10 – September 16
  • Virgo: September 16 – Oct. 30
  • Libra: October 30 – November 23
  • Scorpio: November 23 – November 29
  • Ophiuchus: November 29 – December 17
  • Sagittarius: December 17 – January 20

Wait a minute. Ophiuchus?

Yes, that’s is supposedly the 13th constellation the Babylonians threw out, because they only wanted 12 signs per year.

So according to some astrologers, if you were born between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17, that is actually your sign.
