Top 108 San Diego Comic Con Exclusives (SDCC) for 2011 with Photos (I am done!)

So, I stopped the list this year at 108 items. I probably could have added another 25+ items, but I am tired. I started the list back in April, so I spent 4 months on it. I am already thinking of a different way to format it for next year (perhaps even offering a PDF you can print with photos).

So, as of today, we have 108 San Diego Comic Con 2011 Exclusives listed with Photos.

80+ San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) Exclusives 2011 You Would Sell a Kidney For!

As of today, we have 80+ items in our 2011 San Diego Comic Con Exclusives List.

Each year, we blog about all of the exclusive products that will be at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) this year. Last year we blogged about 73 exclusives and have now surpassed that number for this year. The Con is all sold out and is scheduled for July 21st through the 24th. So are goal now is to hit 100 exclusives in this year’s list. Check back every few days to see what has been added. If you are a manufacturer, please let us know what cool things you are going to offer and we will post it on our blog.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive #33: Kotobukiya Marvel Invisible Woman

Kotobukiya is proud to present its convention exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con 2011, a new variant edition of the hit Marvel Comics Fantastic Four bishoujo statue: INVISIBLE WOMAN SDCC 2011 EXCLUSIVE!

The first version of the character in the amazing Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) captured the character in her modern outfit with special translucent effects.  Now Sue Storm is back again featuring her classic 1980s costume and some great special features, all based on an original character reinterpretation by illustrator Shunya Yamashita!

Specifications:

  • For Kotobukiya’s convention exclusive for the San Diego Comic Con 2011, we re-visit the Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman.
  • Features a color variant of Invisible Woman’s costume from the 1980’s with white highlights.
  • SDCC 2011 Exclusive.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive #32: Kotobukiya DC Comics Evil Supergirl Limited Edition

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!  Coming this summer is a limited edition variant of one of the hottest DC Comics Bishoujo Statues yet!  The hit line combining DC’s most beautiful female characters with traditional Japanese stylings has seen plenty of heroines, so it’s time to go bad with EVIL SUPERGIRL LIMITED EDITION!

Specifications:

  • This color variant of Kotobukiya’s previous Supergirl release is inspired by the Evil Supergirl who first appeared in Supergirl #5, December 2005.
  • This statue also includes an evil version of Streaky the Supercat!

SDCC Exclusive #25: White Phoenix Bishoujo by Kotobukiya

Marvel.Com reveals stories and details about White Phoenix bishoujo…Kotobukiya’s San Diego Exclusive.  The revolutionary Marvel X Bishoujo Collection, combining the beauties of the Marvel Comics universe with traditional Japanese stylings, continues with one of the most popular superheroines of all time: the PHOENIX! An elemental force of fire and life, the Phoenix found a suitable host template in Jean Grey, the X-Man known as Marvel Girl. When Grey seemingly sacrificed herself to save her teammates the alien entity took her place and started a whole new heroic chapter in the saga of the Phoenix. Now for the first time Phoenix is presented in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita.
