The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – The First Released Cast Photo

Xavier Samuels As Riley

David Slade just finished wrapping principal photography on The Twilight Sag: Eclipse. He also posted the first known cast photograph from “Eclipse” on Twitpic, an eerie night shot of Australian heartthrob Xavier Samuels as Riley Biers.

Slade tweets:

“In celebration of wrap first Eclipse cast photo Xavier Samuels between set ups as Riley Biers.”

Apparently Slade took the photo himself between setups.

Watch for more leaked photos as as “Eclipse” begins post-production work. However, most of these leaks will probably not occur until after The Twilight Saga: New Moon has completed its theatrical run, which begins November 20th.

Twilight Eclipse: The Latest Tweets from David Slade

Xavier SamuelDavid Slade has once again been tweeting from the location shooting in Vancouver for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” He says: “Full night shoot week ends, so I am still getting my mind clear for daylight. We shot a lot with Xavier Samuels who is a joy to direct.”

Samuel, a twenty-six year old Australian, is featured in the movie “The Loved Ones,” and the upcoming “Road Train,” and plays “Riley” in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” Riley is one of the first humans turned into a vampire by the villainous Victoria in her attempt to raise a vampire army in Seattle and murder heroine Bella (Kristen Stewart), for whom he has an inexplicable weakness.

Slade said of shooting a couple of nights ago: “Shooting in punishing rain, night shoots throw you into pseudo jet lag,” adding that the fact that “the rain is coming from a giant rain machine, but still, none the less brutal to work in.”
